Wow. Haven't updated this for the LONGEST time. Even though it's just 4 days.

Tuesday met kitten for breakfast at Macs, then she came over to my place for a while to play with Sandy and see my baby photos. Gave her one, hung out around the house a bit before I sent her off at the bus stop. Spent the rest of the day stoning around the house a bit. Wednesday was more of the same, but in the afternoon took Kitty (the pet, not darling) to the vet to get him some medicine, and then went home. Stoned (I sense pattern). Thursday was more of the same.

Now Friday, today I met her at Bugis to shop for our comics and to meet Mitzi and Eddie, and along the way Shen joined us. We hung out around Absolute Comics for a while, then we snuck off to take a Neoprint (those card thingies) so that kitten's mum could see how I looked like. (NB: She thinks I look matured, dependable and honest. Win!) Then went to go have dinner at the V8 cafe where the root beer floats overflow like Singaporeans complain. A lot. I had the Fish and Chips while darling had the black pepper seafood pasta. Yummy, but the portions could have been somewhat larger. Oh well.

Then after that, went down to Orchard with Muddy and Shen, bought some more comics, went to Far East to follow Shen buying a beanie (whatever that is). But it doesn't look too bad. Following that, Shen left while me and kitten went to the press screening of City of Ghosts at Cine. It's not a very good movie. Bad script and cornball dialogue. The plot goes this way and that regardless of whether the audience follows. The acting was laughable, Matt Dillon was in "gritty monotone Keanu Reeves 'whoa'" mode for the whole movie, somewhere along the way he gets a love interest for no apparent reason, and people say 'fuck' a lot. Never mind plot loopholes, you still get to see some of Cambodia in the movie. Looks like a nice place. =P

After the movie ended, went to Taka to buy some aromatherapy oils for Mother's Day. I hope this gets Mum happy, she hasn't really been too happy with us these couple days. Was in the process of selecting a card for Mum when we were politely shooed away by the store attendants (closing time). So we went to sit at our usual spot, talked and chatted a bit, and then left for home.

I started missing her about the same time she stepped into the train. =/ Still, hope to have another outing like this one - provided finances hold up. Heh.
